(Nearly) Finished plumbing

Plenty of snow on the ground this morning meant it was a nice surprise to find Mike laying the last of the bedroom flooring and the plumbers getting nearly all the remaining pipes and fittings fitted and piped. Having suffered from a nasty bout of airplane flu - since Bridget did the flying it is inevitable I should get the flu when she returned - the pantry worktop wasn’t ready for its sink to be installed but we got most of it all sorted.
The cooktop counter was ready for the gas hob unit so that got plumbed in (yes, to the gas) and Ta-Da! tested.

Dominic tests the gas cooktop. At last we can make a cuppa on-site.

The bath was finally installed and hooked up, as was the vanity in the master bathroom. The bath has to sit full of water for a week in order to prevent the spray-foam support from lifting it out of place, so I’ll leave pictures until that is over. The toilet in there is also now fully functional as is the guest bathroom. The laundry sink works very nicely too and is already busy as a cleaning station.
Unfortunately the main kitchen sink didn’t get hooked up since I (being sick) hadn’t managed to build the epoxy seal needed between the counter and sink, and the dishwasher didn’t get installed because it is an inch taller than the spec I originally downloaded said it would be... oh joy.
By the end of the day MIke had finished the bedroom, hallway and closet flooring - very nicely.
